The first weekly round-up for November! Eep! Oh my goodness, everyone has been super active this past week, it’s been fun reading all the posts. But it has also been hard to keep up. Here are a few of my favorite bookish blog posts from this past week.
ON DISAPPOINTMENTS AND SETBACKS WHEN BLOGGING
Jananee gives us tips on how to avoid blogger burn out. One of her tips was to not compare yourself to other bloggers or bookstagram accounts. Just don’t do it! It can be discouraging. Praise them, but focus on the activity you getting, and the content you are putting out. comparison is a slippery slope.
Harry Potter Mini Reviews
Bree from Jasper + Spice did mini reviews of all the Harry Potter books and it was fun to read! Like her, I’ve seen all those movies, but have only read the first three books. This gets me excited to continue on in the series.
Book + Dessert Pairing Guide
This is probably the funnest post I’ve read! Who would have thought to pair books and desserts and all of them are spot on! I was laughing and in awe at the creativity. Thank you Jill from Rant and Rave About Books!
Frenched | A Short Review
Lia from Lost In A Story gave such an honest and blunt review of a book she did not like at all, and it was so refreshing! I like reading less-than-positive reviews, it lets me know that I can trust them when they love a book.
Hello, November: TBR, Aspirations And Other Things. . .
Lu always has the greatest posts, her November TBR post talks about goals for herself outside of just reading and it is inspiring. I need to create a better plan for me month!
The AHHHHH’s Of Reading??
Lu from Girl Who Reads, hit what it is like to read a good book right on the head! If you want to feel understood as a book nerd, read this. It’s wonderful.
I’m really happy with this week’s round-up, thank you to all those book bloggers for keeping it lively.
What blog post did you really enjoy this week?
Until Next Time,
